On the 30th and 31st October 2009 a thalassemia carrier detection camp was organized at Bagnan college center. Prof. N.R.Biswass, Dy. Registrar & NSS Coordinator of CU inaugurated the programme. Present were the local MLA Mr. Akkel Ali, the Panchayat Prodhan Smt. Srabanti Basu and the staff & students of the college.
